The desktop is a workspace and not a place to archive files. Purchase a flashdrive or a portable hard drive or find a space to save files online. And save your file often- computers crash and losing work frustrates everyone. You should be archiving work for your portfolio in every class, you never know what you'll need later. Check out DropBox for free space online.
